Community Events
Sweet Tomatoes Learning Center offers additional activities for families and community members throughout the year including the following types of events. Enrollment is limited for these events, as we still want to provide the top-notch learning experience you expect from our programs. Prices vary depending on activity and will be advertised to the public. Keep your eyes open for fliers sent home with current program participants and posted around the community and on our website.

Horsemanship 101 (learning what it takes to take care of a horse and learning more about horses in general)

Sweet Tomatoes Learning Center offers in-school activities for local schools who want to bring the farm to their classrooms. Sweet Tomatoes' executive director (a state licensed educator and administrator,) can visit your site to provide instruction on a variety of topics, including using nature in arts and crafts activities, STEM learning adventures, place-based learning experiences, scavenger hunts, and hands-on center activities. We come into your school, set up the learning environment, and lead your students in fun activities. Inquire for pricing and to discuss your goals and what options we have available.
